About us and our values

We write for people who earn well or barely make ends meet — and in both cases don't know where the money goes. We teach calm, intentional household cashflow management.

Why this blog

Most money stress doesn't come from earning too little but from having no plan: irregular costs that catch you off guard, installments that eat the paycheck, and no margin. We share simple rules and calculators that make this visible, and finanse.app helps you keep it up every day.

About the author

My name is Rafał Prokopiak. I am an entrepreneur and an investor, but above all a husband and a father. Since 2012 I have been studying wise capital management and investing, combining solid economic knowledge with business practice. As a software developer, I built a tool for analysing your own finances — first for my family, then for a wider circle: finanse.app.

As a believer, I look at finances through the lens of Christian values — I filter the subject of money through Holy Scripture and the social teaching of the Church. In my worldview and in business, people always come first, and I treat capital as a tool for building good, security and a responsible future.

Outside the world of finance, I am passionate about sport and an active lifestyle. As a sailor I have seen a good part of the world, which taught me humility before the elements, strategic planning and openness to other people. I love discovering new cultures, surrounding myself with good music and spending time close to nature. On this blog I share my experience, showing how to manage your own wealth effectively and grow it ethically, in full harmony with your own values.

Our roots, stated plainly

The principles we share grow from a Christian understanding of money as something you manage wisely, not just own: generosity, moderation, avoiding debt, a reserve for hard times, and “enough” instead of “more”. We also draw on personal-finance practitioners such as Ron Blue, Dave Ramsey, Andy Stanley, Jesse Mecham (YNAB) and Morgan Housel.

You don't need to share our faith to benefit from these principles — they work regardless of worldview. When we quote the Bible, we do it openly and name the source.

How the articles are made

Some drafts are prepared with AI help, following our editorial guide. A human reads, edits and approves every article before it is published; we cite sources and show the update date. The content is educational and is not investment, legal or tax advice.
